Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors®

The Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors®’ Department of Education can fulfill all of your educational needs! Look at these programs:

10-HOUR POST LICENSING - approved by the Division of Real Estate to fill your 10-hour post licensing requirement.

If you were licensed after Jan. 1, 1990, you must complete 10 classroom hours of instruction on current issues regarding consumers, real estate practice, ethics, and law.

CONTINUING EDUCATION - On an ongoing basis, the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors® offers quality continuing education programs approved by the Ohio Division of Real Estate to meet licensing requirements. Topics of timely interest to both residential and commercial/ industrial salespeople and brokers are presented at a cost below comparable courses of other professional organizations. Current schedules for continuing education classes can be found in the Cincinnati Realtor® newsletter, cabr.org and Tuesday News.

NOTE: Each licensee who is 70 years of age or older or who will turn 70 on or before June 13, 1999, shall submit proof satisfactory to the Superintendent of the Ohio Division of Real Estate that the licensee has satisfactorily completed during the three-year period commencing on the effective date of this amendment, and every three-year period thereafter, a total of nine classroom hours of continuing education, including instruction in core law, canons of ethics and civil rights. Any licensee who turns 70 after June 13, 1999, must complete thirty (30) hours of continuing education every 3-year reporting period. This requirement will continue as long as the person is licensed or has reinstatement privileges.
